March of Dimes for Babies!

So today at 7:30 am I got up and got ready and went down to New Port Richey, FL, to Sims Park, for the March of Dimes walk. It was a 3.5 mile walk around that area, and we were walking with Publix. I went with my two friends Mike and Jaime, and their two kids Keith and Katelyn. The walk started at 9 am, and we got to the finish line about 11 am. I will say though that I am very happy that it was a beautiful morning out, and wasn't too hot out. There were a lot of people, lots of kids, and even doggies :) We got halfway through and I had to stop to use the bathroom, which I was shocked I even made it that far, and was able to hold it. After I went potty, we finished the walk and oh my goodness, I was dying by the end. But I am disappointed how more than half the people there stopped halfway and were done. My feet were killing me, and my hip and lower back on my left side started to hurt very badly. I ended up in the back a bit, and felt like such a grandma. But for being 6 1/2 months pregnant I think I did pretty darn good. We got to the finish line and I was so excited because they were to have hot dogs and stuff, and by the time we sat down and relaxed for a little bit, they were out, and that made me one upset, hurting, hungry preggo lol. But I know that next year I will be doing the walk again, and I will be going with my son. It was a good experience and though I ache so bad now, it was worth it all. So now I leave you so that I may continue to ice my legs and watch the rest of my movie. So have a goodnight everyone. God Bless! <3

Why not I?

So I have been reading friends blogs for months now, and enjoying reading their blogs, and seeing all their pics, and just have fun reading their stories. So I was sitting here thinking, hey why not make one too? I love seeing them so much, I am sure I would have just as much fun making my own, and sharing my stories and photos as well. So here I am. :)

So that's me, names Malinda Nicole. I am 22 years old, born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I am a Mormon, though I really don't go to church much more, I still am a firm believer in Christ, and the Christian religion. I am currently a single mother and expecting my first child August 7 of this year! I am having a boy, and I am both excited and scared to death. I am going to be 26 weeks along tomorrow, and every day I am closer and closer to seeing my beautiful baby boy. I cannot wait to hold him in my arms, and see him. I love knowing that I will soon be a mother, it is an amazing responsibility to have, though i know it will be a hard one as well, it will all be worth it.
